One of the attraction to visit in our cycling tour is Pantai Malindo, I called it Malindo Muddy Beach. There is actually muddy along the seaside, it is a good place to enjoy the sunset.
This place is actually the West side of Penang Island. In the evening, many local people will come here to enjoy the local Malay street food such as Mee Udang, roti canai, ice kacang, chendol, mee goreng and etc.
With the mangrove forest alongside here, you can enjoy all kind of birds surrounding.
Wild cats are every where to wait for the fishermen boat to come back, they feed the cats with the fresh fishes that catch from the sea.
From Titi Teras Village House to Malindo Muddy Beach is about 7km flat route. We will pass through paddy field and few villages before reaching to Malindo Muddy Beach.
This place is heading to Andaman Sea and Sumatera, Indonesia. In 2006, the mega earthquake caused the tsunami and the wave hit Malindo Muddy Beach too... The fisherman boat all been damaged badly.
From here you can see Pulau Betong (Betong Island) too. This is one of the beautiful island that located the West South of Penang Island.
